"The first time I met Terry it was obvious she LOVES animals, whatever shape, size, voice or coat they wear. Each pet who comes to stay at Camrose Kennels is immediately fostered into Terry and Simon's ever changing family...
I would emphasize that under the genuine LOVE Terry and Simon have for their family they run a very professional operation. They are always looking for new ways, new methods to improve their facility not for themselves, but for the comfort and well being of their temporary 'children.'"
Having worked in the pet service industry for over 14 years as the owner/operator
of Cherylís Pet Taxi in Vancouver, Terry knows the kind of dedication and commitment
that is necessary to provide consistent quality care to your pets. As the owner
of Cherylís Pet Taxi, she transported pets (to vets, groomers, etc.), walked
dogs and providing in-home pet care while owners were away. Caring for the needs
of hundreds of pets over the years has given her a broad informal education in
pet care and behavior that she has enhanced with formal seminars, reading and
networking with other pet providers. Terry considers herself a lifelong learner
and continues to upgrade her education on pet behavior - particular passion of
The decision to purchase Camrose Kennels was not made lightly. Indeed, Terry had a wonderful lifestyle transporting and walking pets in the Vancouver area and was well-respected by clients and loved by their pets. However, over the years, while transporting pets to kennels throughout the lower mainland she noticed that many of the best kennels were often full and it became clear that there was a need for another exceptional kennel for the discerning pet owner. When Simon, her husband, suggested they buy a kennel together she knew the opportunity to build a high quality, pet-centered, full-service kennel that met her exacting standards was too good to pass up!
